Summary

Seeking grant to boost engagement on Alchemix Discord channel and deepening of Alchemix marketing channels.

Abstract

This proposal is seeking a grant to strengthen and boost Alchemix Marketing channels which will in turn empower the community with more wealth of information that they need to make more informed decisions.

Motivation

To me, Alchemix needs to be home to every degen in defi. A check on marketing channels of Alchemix shows that some have not been updated in the last 3 months. One will wonder if Alchemix has down tools because of the bear market. I believe this is time to keep and bond more with our community for next season because a friend in need is a friend indeed. Risk/Reward maximization contents will boast community confidence in this phase of the market.

Specification

I want to introduce the following to Alchemix marketing channels:

  1. Create Alchemix 101 call for new members of this community and I will anchor it. This call is aimed at onboarding new members and showing them how to benefit from Alchemix world opportunities and get all the support they need. It will also engender engagements in the Alchemix discord community.
  2. Host a community trivia Nite on discord. This will be a general knowledge of the community on Alchemix and Defi for special prizes as decided by theDAO.
  3. Step by step articles on Alchemix for community education. This will spice up the Alchemix Newsletter.
  4. New faceless video tutorials on Alchemix for community education. This will reactivate Youtube algo on Alchemix channel.

My TO-DO Each Month on Alchemix.

Each month, I will do:

  1. Alchemix 101 call with report(4x)
  2. Video tutorials on Alchemix (2x)
  3. Step by step articles on Alchemix (2x)
  4. Host a trivia Nite (quiz) 4x

Grant Support:

I am seeking a monthly grant support of 104 ALCX , locking me up for 6 months and paid weekly ONLY If my Weekly Milestones are achieved. Else, no payment.

Since I am new on Alchemix, but not new to crypto space, I am willing to contribute absolutely FREE of charge for the first month. If the DAO, like what I have done, then you lock me up for 6months. I would be fine, if DAO didn't see a reason to support me at the end of the first month but will be willing to give me feedback to improve myself.

    Niceface Hey, the medium link doesn't work, can you provide the fixed one?

    Can you give an example, ideally for another DeFi lending protocol (ie, one in a similar realm of Alchemix), or any DeFi protocol, of:

    1. a video you've made
    2. a step by step article
    3. a trivia sample
    4. A 101 call/report

    I think what you are proposing is pretty cool. But ultimately I think the main thing I am unsure about is if you are qualified to be teaching these things for Alchemix specifically, given you have not really been involved in the community before. So i'd like to see more proof of either your knowledge of Alchemix, or your ability to understand other DeFi protocols at a level where you can deliver the items above. If it's going to be very basic level stuff OR if we are not confident the information requested will be correct, then I'm not sure it's worth the 100 ALCX monthly stipend being requested.
