I went away and came back to a version 2. What happens to the debts and vaults on V1? I tried connecting my wallet to the V2 UI, which it recognises, but I see none of my farms, debt or vault info, so I assume that this not a version 2 but a separate isolated space. If so, do I need to liquidate from V1, in order to get into V2? The time to clear my debt has gone from 2029 to 2041, so it sounds a bit dead. Any explanations would be really helpful, thanks.

V2 is a completely new thing. If you want to access the V1 vaults and your deposits there, head on over to https://legacy.alchemix.fi/

We will provide a migration tool to make it easier for users to move funds to V2 if they so desire. The V1 page will stay online and can be accessed through that link. There's also a green infobox on the V2 vault page with the same link.

Thanks for the quick reply. Are the old vaults and farms still active or have they been supersede by the version 2 and new farms?

The farms have not changed and are available on both websites.
The vaults are different things, but they too are available on each of the websites.

I'm having trouble with the migration tool. When I tried migrating my alUSD, the process failed at the third step. On Etherscan the message reads: Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted]. My Dai ended up in my metamask. When I tried migrating my alEth, the process failed again at the third step. My Eth didn't end up in my wallet. Where is it?

Now my Eth is back in my wallet, but I can't do step three of the migration because I no longer have any positions in the v1 vaults.

Haxel you can expand the Legacy Migration box, click the green "no positions found" button and you can repeat the process manually. The first steps will be skipped if there's nothing to be done and go straight to the flashloan part.

Thanks! I was able to try repeating the process manually for my Dai, but got the following error:
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted]

I didn't even get that far migrating my Eth. I got the same error message as last time:
cannot estimate gas; transaction may fail or may require manual gas limit [ See: https://links.ethers.org/v5-errors-UNPREDICTABLE_GAS_LIMIT ]

That error message is not really useful to me. Can you go to the settings page (top right clog icon, click settings) and copy the errors from the error log in there? Just click the bottom most entry that should be your last failed transaction.

    Sure! Thanks!

The error message I get when I try to migrate my Eth is:
      cannot estimate gas; transaction may fail or may require manual gas limit [ See: https://links.ethers.org/v5-errors-UNPREDICTABLE_GAS_LIMIT ] (error={"code":-32000,"message":"execution reverted"}, method="estimateGas", transaction={"from":"0x07C6adbb822833E93aa8fB6A24D9Cf04365C0868","to":"0xf8317BD5F48B6fE608a52B48C856D3367540B73B","data":"0x38d0743600000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000010000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000","accessList":null}, code=UNPREDICTABLE_GAS_LIMIT, version=providers/5.6.2)

Haxel so basically what happened was that the deposit caps were not high enough to facilitate the flashloan when you tried. They have been raised recently (https://twitter.com/AlchemixFi/status/1511300894259875846), the process should work out fine if you were to retry now.

Haxel and with this you tried to withdraw a value of "0" which is not possible, thus the revert.

Thanks so much! I was able to migrate my Dai position.
